Softball Adds Ostrowski to Coaching Staff
VILLANOVA, Pa. — The Villanova softball team announced former player Brooklyn Ostrowski will return to the program as an assistant coach on Bridget Orchard‘s staff Monday.
Ostrowski, a five-year player at VU, joins the staff after a successful career with the Wildcats which saw the slugging first baseman hit 26 home runs (7th all-time in program history) and make 120 starts at multiple positions.
In her fifth and final season in 2025, Ostrowski was named a captain by her peers.
During her time as a player with Villanova, the program made the NCAA Regional round twice after winning BIG EAST titles in 2021 and 2024.
Ostrowski’s younger sister, outfielder Madison Ostrowski, is coming into her senior season with the Wildcats.
VU finished 27-26-1 in the 2025 campaign, making it to the second round of the BIG EAST tournament before falling 13-10 to Butler.
