PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown softball head coach Mary Holt-Kelsch has announced the Bears 2025 schedule. Brown will play 17 home games this season as the Bears look to make the Ivy League Tournament.
The Bears will begin the season at Wintrhop playing five games in a weekend tournament, February 21-23. Brown will take on Youngstown State twice and will also play games against Wintrhop, Le Moyne and St. John’s.
Brown will continue road non-conference play at Lipscomb (March 8), at Belmont (March 9), at Sacred Heart (March 15) and at Holy Cross (March 16). The Bears will play at home for the first time on March 19 when the Bears play a double header against Stonehill.
Ivy League play for Brown begins on March 22-23 with a three-game home series against Dartmouth. Brown will also have home Ivy League series against Cornell (April 5-6), Yale (April 26-27) and Princeton (May 3-4).
Road series during league play will be at Penn (March 29-30), Columbia (April 12-13) and Harvard (April 19-20).
Brown will host midweek double headers against both Rhode Island (April 9) and Bryant (April 16). The Bears will be on the road for a double header at Central Connecticut State (April 23) and a single game against Providence (April 30).
The 2025 Ivy League Tournament will feature the top four teams in the regular season and will be played at the site of the regular season champion.
