MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Colorado man is taking sports fandom to a new level and achieved his goal of stepping foot in the home of all 124 major league sports teams Saturday when he visited the FedExForum. All rights reserved.He said when planning out his last couple of stops, he thought Memphis was the perfect place to end his journey. “We went to the Blues City Cafe, and the food was fantastic, and you know, getting to see the nightlife and seeing a piano bar downtown, it has been very fun and very filling,” Angeli said. “It has been fun traveling North America, and I couldn’t think of a better, more underrated city than Memphis.”In total, Angeli has been to nearly 1500 different sporting events.After Saturday he did just that, Angeli joined what is called “Club 124,” and is the one of only 24 known people who have accomplished this.
