The first phase, targeted to begin in late March, will include site work and excavation.The Action Sports Park is slated to be built in the borough’s High Point Park, located off of Whitehall Road.State College, PA (WJAC) — Work on a long awaited skatepark in State College is expected to get underway in a few months.The second phase will be construction, which is expected to be completed by late fall.With a projected price tag of well over a million dollars, the facility’s design includes areas for skateboarding, BMX, and roller skating.The borough says construction will be done in two phases.
