GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The NMU men’s swimming and diving squad concluded their participation in the Calvin Invite with another outstanding performance on Saturday.

NMU finished in third place among five teams in the three-day event, tallying 1620 points, falling short of Calvin’s 1765 and GVSU’s 2357.

The ‘Cats established a new team record, achieved six NCAA provisional times, secured one top finish, and had four podium placements.

Tobie Stiles took home the gold and shattered a team record in the six-dive event that he previously set in the 1-meter diving, finishing with a total of 498.80 points and a six-dive score of 317.95.

Javier Pena Reyes earned gold and an NCAA provisional mark in the 200 fly with a time of 1:49.73.
