The four-time reigning state champion Stillwater synchronized swimming team is off to a strong start after collecting 29-0 East Metro Conference figures meet victories over Columbia Heights/DeLaSalle and Osseo/Maple Grove/Park Center.

Stillwater (2-0 EMC, 2-0) was dominant in both meets, including the victory over Osseo/Maple Grove/Park Center on Tuesday, April 8 at Stillwater Middle School. Hailey Schmit led the way with an impressive figures score of 76.333. The rest of the team’s top 10 performers were separated by less than 4.5 points, including Gabby Lalande (68.497), Andelyn Filandrinos (66.948), Elaina Lokken (66.215), Alex Kruse (65.544), Kayla Crooks (64.938), Sienna Cruz (64.887), Cyra Brazzell (64.309), Kaelynn Grecian (64.239) and Jossy Englund (64.014).
