SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Syracuse University unveiled its new Gaming & Esports Center on Friday.The facility, which is described as first in class, offers space for students to play games and host tournaments. It has virtual reality, individual gaming stations and pods and large screens for broadcasting. The center even includes a broadcasting booth.On July 1, it will become the Falk College of Sport. It will focus on sport-related disciplines.Students will learn broadcasting and production, business management, content creation, communications, entrepreneurship, event management and marketing as well as visual and media design.The university’s Esports & Communications Management B.S. program is offered jointly by the S.I.
