As NASCAR makes its historical return to Mexico City, DGM Racing and Ryan Ellis are proud to announce additional races with Tablo TV, a subscription-free over-the-air (OTA) DVR and streaming device. Tablo TV is redefining its sponsorship with Ellis and DGM Racing’s No. 71 Chevrolet by adding an in-car camera at each primary-sponsored race, including Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City, Kansas Speedway, and Talladega Superspeedway during the NASCAR Playoffs.

NASCAR’s return to Mexico City has generated buzz internationally, and Tablo TV looks forward to rejoining forces with Ellis and increasing access for race fans with an in-car camera at one of the most anticipated events of the season. Inspired by Mexico City’s vibrant and colorful communities, Tablo TV has modified its traditional car design to include brighter brand colors.

“We’re thrilled to team up again this season with Ryan Ellis and his amazing crew for the NASCAR Xfinity race in Mexico City, held at the legendary F1 circuit. With Tablo TV, fans won’t miss a second of the action, including exclusive in-car camera coverage that puts you right in the driver’s seat. This will be one of the most exciting live TV moments of the season, and we couldn’t ask for better partners than Ryan and his DGM team to bring the thrill of the race to living rooms everywhere.”

Ellis expresses his excitement about hitting the track at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the first time, “Having raced in Mexico once before, I know the fans are passionate and full of energy! The excitement for this event is unmatched as anticipation continues to build across the industry. I know how much this event means to NASCAR and our audience in Mexico, and I’m so grateful to be a small part of a significant moment that will go down in NASCAR history.”

Enhancing the race day experience for fans and engaging with the community have been two crucial pieces of Tablo TV’s partnership with Ellis and his race team. Now, Tablo TV is taking it a step further by sponsoring an in-car camera during the race broadcast on The CW at each Tablo TV scheduled race, providing fans with a real-time, behind-the-scenes view from inside the cockpit as Ellis competes. The Tablo TV-sponsored vantage point will allow fans from across the country to watch all the on-track action from the cockpit right from their living room.

“For our team, having Tablo on board as our sponsor makes it even more special,” Ellis continues. “They’ve been an incredible partner, and I’m thrilled they’re bringing fans even closer to the action with the Tablo onboard camera. Sharing my first laps live from the driver’s seat on the CW is so cool – it’s my first race with an onboard camera in NASCAR, and I know fans will love seeing the track from my point of view. The perspective that this camera will bring is much like watching our races on Tablo – the next best thing to being in the driver’s seat.”

By pairing a Tablo TV device with an OTA TV antenna, consumers can watch, pause and record exciting NASCAR Xfinity racing action on The CW and 125+ more TV channels, subscription-free. Tablo TV lets you enjoy the best of live local broadcast TV and free internet-based streaming channels, including 12 networks in Español, through one cohesive app-based TV experience on any compatible screen in your home. Celebrating 249 years of Independence, the Ohio CAT Great Lakes Super Sprints Presented by PERFIT & ARP are headed into the Holiday weekend with three races and three tracks on the schedule. Waynesfield Raceway Park kicks off the weekend on Thursday, Limaland Motorsports Park holds the middle of the weekend on Friday, with the quarter-mile at Millstream Raceway wrapping up the tripleheader.

In the first visit to Waynesfield Raceway Park in May, Devon Dobie dominated from the front of the field. Collecting his first win of the 2025 season, nearly 10 years to the day since his first career win, Dobie executed precision around “The Field of Speed” alongside timely cautions to get the win over Bryan Sebetto, Kasey Jedrzejek, Max Stambaugh, and Jared Horstman.

Limaland Motorsports Park has hosted four GLSS races in 2025, three of which have seen Stambaugh go to Victory Lane. Jedrzejek was the lone driver who interrupted the Stambaugh winning streak back on May 23rd.

As for Millstream Speedway, a trip to the quarter-mile awaits on Saturday after the first trip to the half-mile was cancelled in May. The Great Lakes Super Sprints were the first ever sanction to race on the quarter-mile when track conditions on the half-mile resulted in the event being moved to the quarter-mile. Zane DeVault, who won both visits to Millstream last season, held off Greg Wilson, Kasey Jedrzejek, Chase Dunham, and Narin Naida for the first ever Millstream quarter-mile win.

The 2025 Championship Points battle remains tight for the Great Lakes Super Sprints Tour. Max Stambaugh and Jared Horstman both collected their fifth win of the season with wins at Tri-City and Crystal respectively. Horstman holds an 18 point advantage over Stambaugh heading into the weekend with Dustin Daggett third 181 points back.

In the Ohio CAT Division, Stambaugh has a 106-point advantage on Jared Horstman, but the top six in points remain one night’s full-points away from the lead. With 225 points available per night, Devon Dobie sits third 114 back, Phil Gressman fourth 168 behind, defending Ohio CAT Champion, Dustin Daggett sits 169 points behind Stambaugh, and Chase Dunham is 171 points back.

Gates open at 4:00 PM on Thursday at Waynesfield, 5:00 PM Friday at Limaland, and 4:00 PM Saturday at Millstream. Fans who can’t make the trip can watch all the action LIVE at www.GreatLakesSprints.Tv.

DVIDS – News – Army Guard Adds to NASCAR Racing Stable

Many NASCAR fans are accustomed to seeing the National Guard name on Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s No. 88 car in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.

Recently, however, the Guard added another driver and racing series to its roster.

This weekend, driver Landon Cassill will be sponsored by the National Guard in the Mountain Dew 250 Fueled by Winn-Dixie NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Ala.

The sponsorship of Cassill, who drives the No. 81 truck, at Talladega ties in with Guard recruiting and retention events to be held during the race, said Army Lt. Col. Joseph Day, chief of Army National Guard marketing programs.

Those events are scheduled to include an appearance by Cassill as well as a performance after the race by the band Three Doors Down, whose song “Citizen/Soldier” honors Army National Guard soldiers. Guard recruiting booths will be set up along the track during the race.

For Cassill, this weekend’s race will be his seventh start as part of the 2008 season of the truck series. While this is Cassill’s rookie season, he placed in the top 10 at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in May and finished third at the Milwaukee Mile in June.

Those wins, Cassill said, largely have been from the efforts of the team behind the No. 81 truck. He said he hopes that, as well as the Guard sponsorship, will bring him success at Talladega.

“We’ve got the National Guard on board, and I think it’s a perfect combination for my first race at Talladega,” he said in a news release.

This isn’t Cassill’s first time racing for the Guard. He also drives the National Guard-sponsored No. 5 car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He took first place in the 2007 Busch Series 250 race.

Saturday may mark Cassill’s first race at Talladega in the truck series, but he is scheduled to make the rounds of Talladega’s 2.66-mile course the day before behind the wheel of the No. 88 car in the Automobile Racing Club of America’s Re/Max series race. That race, he said, will give him experience with drafting that he can build on for the truck race the following day.

“I learned a lot in Daytona this winter about drafting, but I also learned even more about drafting at some of the truck races that I’ve ran this year at fast tracks,” he said. “It’s going to take a lot of focus to catch on to the drafting techniques on race weekend, but I think the seat time and experience that I’ll get from the ARCA race will be able to transfer right over to the truck.”

And perhaps that is something that will translate into a win.

“Obviously, we want to put the National Guard truck in victory lane for [the Guard members], and I feel confident Landon and all the guys on the team can do just that,” said Randy Moss, co-owner of Randy Moss Motorsports, which owns the No. 81 truck.

Ahead of this weekend’s NASCAR Chicago Street Race in Grant Park, Chicago kids on Thursday raced push karts on part of DuSable Lake Shore Drive.

Teens competed on the NASCAR track in Grant Park for the 13th annual X-Stream Push Kart Derby.

The winners of this year’s race, the team from Columbus Park, built their homemade karts in three days.

Michael Curry, 16, said he and his teammates worked well together.

“Like building the kart brick by brick by brick, and building it together all as a unit, that really helped out chemistry and helped our believing in each other,” he said.

Chicago Park District program specialist Sonica Ruiz said they started the races 13 years ago as part of a STEM program in their camps.

“Our first year, we had about a dozen parks, 12, and now we’re up to 38 parks that are racing,” she said.

For years, the races were held in Garfield Park and Humboldt Park, but in 2022, the Park District teamed up with NASCAR for the inaugural Chicago Street Race.

“Hopefully we have new race car fans. Hopefully some of them are potential are NASCAR Cup Series

The Chicago Park District said 300 kids have been split up into 20 teams to participate in the 13th annual Push Kart Derby race. Ruiz said this was the first time the teens have been able to race on DuSable Lake Shore Drive.

“Last year, they brought NASCAR cars out to us, and this year we’re bringing our karts out to them. So we get to be on the ground. We get to see how the races look pre-race. We get a sneak peek. It’s very exciting,” Ruiz said.

Antwan Curry, 14, pushed his teammate, Michael Curry during the race. He said the derby was an opportunity he’ll never forget.

“I think it’s great. I think it’s really one way to bring the community together. You know, with all the stuff that happens in Chicago, it’s just one thing to distract the kids, like give them something to do, keep them busy, being with the community. I think it’s amazing,” Antwan said.

The Chicago Park District said each year’s race has a theme, and this year they were advocating for the environment.

Parker Kligerman makes bold claim about NASCAR Chicago Street Race

Driver turned analyst on The CW, Parker Kligerman, gives a unique and first-hand experience take on all things NASCAR. This week, Kligerman is previewing the Chicago Street Race course for fans, and he’s got a couple of things to say about the course.

Kligerman raced the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Chicago the last two seasons. This year, he won’t be in the race, but he still knows a thing or two about this relatively new event.

One of the most unique race tracks on the schedule, Chicago offers drivers and fans a lot of excitement. Kligerman, who will also appear on the TNT Cup Series broadcast team, loves this course and thinks that it is world-class among street courses.

“One of the coolest street courses in the entire motorsports world,” Kligerman said in a video for The CW. He took fans through each turn, describing the quirks and necessities needed to get through each.

Turn 4 was special, though. Once again, the driver-analyst gave the circuit a major accolade. He believes that Turn 4 might be one of the most difficult corners in all of motorsports.

“Then that sets you up onto DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Then, you enter the trickiest braking zone in all of NASCAR, possibly motorsports,” Kligerman remarked. “And it’s about 100 different asphalt types that you’ll run across, it’s very bumpy.”

We will have to watch Turn 4 on Saturday and Sunday. If Parker Kligerman is right, these drivers could have problems. He also mentioned Turn 7 as one of the best passing zones on the track. A lot of things to keep an eye on this weekend.

NASCAR Chicago Street race enters third year

For the third year, and potentially final year, NASCAR is racing on the streets of Chicago. This race weekend has been plagued by rain the last two seasons. The first season, the rain made the race exciting. I’d argue that a year ago, it deflated the hype a bit too much, having a second year be covered in rain.

From a fan perspective, I might be more excited about the Xfinity Series race. Seeing SVG vs. Connor Zilisch in those cars is going to be must-watch TV. But then we get to see SVG go head-to-head against the usual Cup Series regulars on Sunday as well. If he won this race, that would block a new win-and-in playoff driver for another week.

There is a lot up for grabs. These drivers have raced here for two years now, most of them. A dry race would actually be the biggest surprise for these teams. They haven’t had to strategize for a completely dry race yet at Chicago.

Whether or not NASCAR races in the streets of Chicago after this weekend, this experiment has been a success, and had real consequences. This event has led to real-world effects on the Cup Series. Look no further than Trackhouse Racing and their decision to move on from Daniel Suárez after this season. This race, and SVG’s win in 2023, have had major consequences for certain drivers and teams.
