Texas A&M Athletics Graduates 22 at Summer Commencement – Texas A&M Athletics
BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Athletics is set to graduate 22 student-athletes at summer commencement ceremonies inside Reed Arena Aug. 9.
“Congratulations to all of our graduates who will be earning their degrees this weekend,” Director of Athletics Trev Alberts said. “Last year was historic for our department in the classroom, and I cannot thank our staff enough for their hard work and our student-athletes for their dedication to excellence. As we approach a new academic year, I am excited to see what we can accomplish, both academically and on the field of play.”
Of the 22 graduates, six are receiving graduate level degrees or certificates. Highlighting the group is soccer’s Jordyn Kindiger (Gunnarson) who earned her doctorate in educational psychology.
“As an athletics department, we are extremely proud of the 22 student-athletes who will graduate this summer,” Executive Associate Athletic Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Engagement Dr. Dan Childs said. “Earning a degree from Texas A&M is a significant milestone. The level of dedication these students have exhibited both on the field and in the classroom has been tremendous and exemplifies the Aggie Spirit of excellence. Their unwavering commitment to academics and our core values is truly inspiring. We are confident that these remarkable individuals are well-prepared to make a lasting impact and achieve even greater success in the next chapter of their lives.”
