Canady currently holds a 21-5 record in the circle and boasts an NCAA-leading 0.88 ERA with 220 strikeouts. Her strikeouts are good for fifth best in the NCAA as she is also top five in the country in hits per seven innings (3.76), walk-to-strikeout ratio (7.10), strikeouts per seven innings (10.2) and WHIP (0.74). One of the major highlights this season was her no-hitter against Kansas on March 28 when she threw a complete 5.0 inning game and recorded 12 strikeouts.
On offense, Canady has hit seven home runs with 25 RBI while slugging .657 with an on-base percentage of .448 in just 67 at-bats.
Defensively, Canady has made an impression as well. She has spent some time at first base this season and is a perfect 47-for-47 on defensive attempts with 25 putouts and 22 assists.
Softball America ranked the junior utility player as the No. 1 pitcher in the country for the months of April and May while also having her as the No. 1 two-way player in the country for the month of March. Canady has earned Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors twice (March 18, April 9) and D1Softball National Pitcher of the Week (April 1).
