Texas volleyball ranked No. 5 in AVCA Preseason Coaches’ Poll
The Longhorns are picked to finish second in the SEC Preseason Coaches’ Poll, with Kentucky as the conference favorite at No. 7 nationally. The Longhorns are one of five SEC schools ranked in the top 25 with Texas A&M rounding the top 10 at No. 9, Florida at No. 16, and Missouri ranked at No. 17.
The Longhorns will open the 2025 season with the Opening Spike Classic in Madison, Wisc., against No. 12 Creighton on Aug. 29 and on Aug. 31 against No. 8 Wisconsin at the Kohl Center with the home opener set for Sept. 6 against No. 6 Stanford at Moody Center.
