Launched in 2014, The Game Awards has evolved into an annual celebration that honors outstanding achievements in the gaming sector. 
This year’s nominees have been revealed across 29 distinct categories as the event commemorates its 10th anniversary.
A worldwide jury comprising more than 130 media organizations voted to determine the nominees for the  Game Awards 2024.
The prestigious ceremony will occur at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.
Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Metaphor: ReFantazio are among the contenders for the coveted Game of the Year award.
In addition to Game of the Year, The Game Awards 2024 will celebrate standout performances in categories like Content Creator of the Year, Best eSports Game, Best eSports Athlete, Best eSports Team, Best Mobile Game, Best Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality, and a variety of other categories.
