SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Shippensburg University chapter of The Hidden Opponent (THO) announced a “Green Out” for several sporting events during the spring season.
THO will have a table at each event with representatives to learn more about the organization.
The Hidden Opponent is a national advocacy group that raises awareness for student-athlete mental health and addresses the stigma within sports culture by holding events to promote discussion while also being a community for student-athletes.
THO encourages all fans to show support by wearing green to the following events:
March 22: Tennis hosts Molloy at Robb Sports Complex at 12 p.m.
March 29: Softball hosts a doubleheader against West Chester at Robb Sports Complex at 1 p.m.
April 19: Lacrosse hosts Kutztown at Robb Sports Complex at 12 p.m. and Baseball hosts a doubleheader against Mansfield at 1 p.m. at Fairchild Field.
April 26: Track and Field hosts the Paul Kaiser Classic at 8:30am at Seth Grove Stadium.
