Third Sunday Breakfast benefits Brookings Figure Skating Club

Brookings Figure Skating Club members recently helped serve the Third Sunday Breakfast, sponsored by the Brookings Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

The nonprofit organization, through its willingness to help serve, receive the profits from the breakfast. Nonprofit organizations are only required to submit a letter stating their organization’s mission, how their group efforts make our community better and their willingness to advertise the various events they sponsor.

The Brookings Figure Skating Club received a check for $1,100 for their help serving the breakfast on Feb. 16.
