He ranked the New Jersey-style slice a 7.8 out of 10, which he said is high for this type of pizza. "This is really good, really fresh," he said. "If you did a blindfold, you would never guess this is a New Orleans pizza, not in a million years." Portnoy also tried That's Amore in Metairie, a pizza place known for its Chicago-style deep dish pizza. He said the pie could stand up to Windy City pies and ranked it a 7.4 out of 10.
