FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Freshman swimmer Jacob Johnson, senior swimmer Bar Soloveychik, and junior diver Drew Bennett each earned All-American honors to cap off the 2025 NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatics Center.  Ten Gophers competed from Mar. 26-29, earning points as a team en route to an overall finish of  place.
 
Johnson earned All-American honorable mention honors for his 200 fly performance at his first NCAA Championship meet. Johnson placed 10th with his school record breaking time of 1:39.96.
 
Soloveychik clinched an All-American honorable mention nod after breaking his own school record in the 1650 free. He placed 11th with a time of 14:36.91, and earned the fourth All-American honor of his career. 
 
Bennett earned the first All-American honorable mention nod of his career for his platform dive performance. Bennett placed 14th with a 343.40.
 
Daniel Eichel, Joey Tepper, Joe Rudd, Kaiser Neverman, Casey Stowe, and Joe Polyak and diver YuTong Wang also represented the Gophers in Federal Way this week. Polyak set a new personal record in the 200 IM, 200 breast, and 100 breast.

Bar Soloveychik– 19th place in prelims (4:13.81)
Joey Tepper– 40th place in prelims (4:17.57)

YuTong Wang– 24th place in prelims (321.90)
Drew Bennett– 36th place in prelims (292.50)
 
Friday, March 28
100 fly: 
Jacob Johnson– 30th place in prelims (45.35)
 
100 breast:
Joe Polyak– 38th place in prelims (52.44)
 
3-meter diving: 
YuTong Wang– 28th place in prelims (324.10)

Stowe, Rudd, Johnson, Neverman- 25th place (3:06.36)

1650 free: 
Bar Soloveychik– 11th place (14:36.91)
Joey Tepper– 24th (14:51.27)
 
200 fly:
Jacob Johnson– 10th in finals (1:39.96), tied for 14th place in prelims (1:40.86)
 
200 breast:
Joe Polyak– 21st in prelims (1:52.58)
 
Platform diving: 
Drew Bennett–  14th in finals (343.40), 10th place in prelims (364.30)
