Thrilling Victory: Services Clinch Water Polo Championship
In a gripping final at the 78th Senior National Aquatics Championships, Services claimed victory over Railways to secure the men’s water polo title. The match, held on Sunday, was nothing short of a thriller, culminating in an 11-10 win after an intense shootout.
The fiercely contested game saw both teams finishing 9-all at the end of four quarters, pushing the match into a dramatic shootout. Even then, the competition was neck and neck, with both sides locked at 10-all before Services finally edged out Railways.
The national championship took place at the Veer Savarkar Sports Complex in Naranpura, encompassing both men’s and women’s water polo competitions, celebrating a successful event of aquatic sports.
