Toni Breidinger Joins Forces With Uber in Game-Changing Partnership to Empower Women in Motorsports
She may have just wrapped her rookie season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, but Toni Breidinger isn’t slowing down. The 26-year-old sensation is already shifting into an even higher gear.
Fresh off her debut campaign, the trailblazing driver is now gearing up for her biggest off-track move yet, a landmark partnership with ridesharing giant Uber. It’s a collaboration that not only elevates her growing profile but also marks a bold new step in her mission to break boundaries and empower women worldwide.
Uber’s ‘Women Preferences’ Feature Finds the Perfect Ambassador in Toni Breidinger
With 2.4 million die-hard fans following her on social media, Breidinger has quickly become one of motorsports’ most influential young figures and has announced a landmark partnership with Uber, marking one of the most high-profile collaborations of her career.
With brand partners like Raising Cane’s, Sunoco, Victoria’s Secret, Dave & Buster’s, CELSIUS, Coach, 818 Tequila, and several others, the Arab-American has built a personal brand that often extends far beyond the racetrack.
Now, following a 23rd-place finish in her rookie Truck Series campaign, she’s stepping into an even more impactful role. As the spokesperson for Uber’s groundbreaking “Women Preferences” feature, Breidinger will help spotlight an initiative that allows female riders to request female drivers, offering an added layer of comfort and control in a space where safety has long been a concern.
Reflecting on her new alliance, Breidinger stated (via SI.com) – “I am so excited about the new feature, I’ve been waiting for it forever. I still Uber all the time, but when I was younger, especially in high school, I would get nervous sometimes and I feel like this is such an empowering feature.”
After testing the feature in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Detroit earlier this year, Uber has now rolled it out to 26 additional cities across the country, providing even more women with access to the long-requested option.
Breidinger believes the feature marks a significant turning point for the ridesharing world, a long-overdue shift that finally gives women the ability to choose how they travel and with whom. To her, it’s more than a convenience; it’s a daily dose of empowerment that puts women’s comfort and confidence at the center of the experience.
And if anyone understands the power of feeling supported in a male-dominated arena, it’s the Tricon Garage ace. As the first Arab-American woman to compete full-time in a NASCAR national series, she’s lived the pressure, scrutiny, and the fight firsthand.
Her transition from ARCA to NASCAR’s third-tier national series was anything but smooth. In her rookie season, Breidinger logged a best finish of 18th at Rockingham Speedway, two top-20s, and 13 top-25s, numbers that reflect both the steep learning curve and her determination to keep climbing.
