AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas track and field programs are scheduled to split the weekend for the third time this season with the distance programs scheduled for the David Hemery Valentine Invite hosted by Boston University. The rest of the team will travel to Clemson, S.C. for the Tiger Paw Invite.

The Clemson meet will host over 30 universities with notables like No. 1/16 USC, NR/No. 8 Georgia, NR/No. 23 Tennessee, NR/No. 10 South Carolina, Kentucky, No. 5/NR North Carolina, No. 10 Virginia Tech and No. 15 Virginia.
- Kelsey Daniel holds the second-best jump in the country in the men’s long jump with his mark of 8.03m (26-4.25). He moved to No. 2 on the UT All-Time Performer List behind Marquise Goodwin.
- The women are led by the 4×400-meter relay that holds the 6th-fastest time in the NCAA this year at 3:30.36. Akala Garrett also holds the 12th-fastest 400-meter time in the NCAA of 52.25 in just her second career 400-meter dash.
- Eva Jess moved to No. 5 on the UT All-Time Performer List in the 3000-meter at the Razorback Invitational when she dropped 11 seconds from her prior personal best.
- Rodger Rivera will make his indoor season debut in the men’s mile and 3,000-meter at the David Hemery Valentine Invite.
