Track & Field Announces Incoming Class
VESTAL, N.Y. – The Binghamton track & field program has announced its 2025 incoming class. The three men and eight women will join the Bearcats as freshmen in the fall.
On the men’s side, Anthony Mancabelli (Orchard Park, N.Y.) is a pole vaulter from Orchard Park High School. His top height is 14-4. At the 2025 New York State (NYS) Indoor Championships, Mancabelli was sixth overall in the pole vault.
Vincent Mancini (Endwell, NY) is a sprinter from nearby Maine-Endwell High School. His top times are 6.55 in the 55, 10.82 in the 100 and 22.07 in the 200. At the recent 2025 NYS Class B Outdoor Championships, Mancini was second in the 100 and sixth in the 200.
Alex Poje (Brooklyn, NY), meanwhile, is a sprinter from Fort Hamilton High School. His top 400 time is 48.13. At the 2025 PSAL City Championships, Poje was second overall in the 400.
On the women’s side, Saida Assabahi (Altamont, NY) is a sprinter from Guilderland High School. Her top performances are 24.72 in the 200, 39.41 in the 300 as well as 56.14 in the 400. Assabahi was seventh overall in the 300 at the 2025 NYS Indoor Championships and fourth in the 400 at the ensuing NYS Class A outdoor meet.
Priscilla Barker (Brooklyn, NY) is a sprinter/hurdler from the Uncommon Leadership Charter School. Her top times are 25.76 in the 200, 40.73 in the 300 and 15.72 in the 100 hurdles. She won the 100 hurdles at the 2025 PSAL Brooklyn Borough Championships and was seventh overall in the 200 at the PSAL City Championships.
Sophia Deja (Port Jefferson Station, NY) is a multi athlete from Comsewogue High School. Her top performances are 3,002 in the pentathlon and 5-5 ¾ in the high jump. Deja was sixth overall in the pentathlon at the recent NYS Outdoor Championships. She was also first in the high jump at the preceding NYS Section 11 Meet.
Kristen Johnston (Lansing, NY) is a jumper from Lansing High School. Her top performances are 37-9 ¾ in the triple jump, 5-3 in the high jump and 17-1 ¼ in the long jump. At the 2025 NYS Section 4 Class C Championships, Johnston swept the high jump and long jump titles and was second in the triple jump.
Addison Lazarek (Chadwicks, NY) is a jumper/hurdler from Sauquoit Valley High School. Her top performances are 19-1 in the long jump, 39-2 ½ in the triple jump and 1:03.58 in the 400 hurdles. At the 2025 NYS Outdoor Championships, she was third in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump.
Olivia Peak (San Antonio, Texas) is a sprinter/jumper from San Antonio Christian High School. Her top performances are 12.29 in the 100, 25.40 in the 200 and 17-11 ½ in the long jump. At the 2025 Texas TAPPS State Championships, she was fourth in the 200, seventh in the 100 and eighth in the long jump.
Braeann Stender (Angola, N.Y.) is a hurdler from Lake Shore High School. Her top times are 8.30 in the 55 hurdles and 14.76 in the 100 hurdles. At the NYS Class B Outdoor Championships, she was second in the 100 hurdles.
Finally, Kathryn Vidulich (Commack, NY) is a jumper from Commack High School. Her top distances are 17-8 ½ in the long jump and 37-0 ½ in the triple jump. At the NYS Section 11 2A County Championships, she was second in the triple jump and third in the long jump.
