NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State track & field program will host the Senior Spotlight Friday at the Redbird Track & Field Complex. Action is slated to begin at 9:00 a.m. with Senior Recognition starting at 11:30 a.m.

The following Senior student-athletes will be recognized on Friday:

  • Corrina Courser, Atleigh Hamilton, Gracie Jessup, Windsor Roberts, Kiley Sanders, Madison Saunders, Lauren Schulze, Kaitlin Skeate, Ella Vacek, Ariel Atias, Darcis Bitangalo, Nick Doud, Julian Head, Sean Hopkins, Caleb Lerus, Zack Loomis, Kevyere Mack, Michael Marrs, Noah Penry, Josh Schmid, Devin Turner, Ian Geisler, Anthony Smith, Cade Ward, Karlie Stauder, Reece Davis, William Sinclair

The Redbirds return home for the last home meet of the 2025 campaign following a strong weekend in Champaign, Ill., at the Fighting Illini Twilight. Illinois State captured two top-10 marks and numerous personal best marks on the single-day event.

Junior Enyinnaya Nwagwu Jr. moved up the top-10 list in the men’s 200m after recording a time of 20.93. Nwagwu’s time now sits seventh in Illinois State history.

The men’s 4x100m relay team of Reed, Nwagwu, Paul, and Curtis also climbed the top-10 list with a time of 40.05. They moved to fifth in Redbird program history.

UP NEXT

Following the conclusion of Friday’s meet, the Redbird squad will split to travel to Bloomington, Ind., and Terre Haute, Ind., for the Billy Hayes Invitational and Sycamore Open. Both events will be single-day events scheduled for May 9.
