Twenty Student-Athletes, Men’s And Women’s Teams Named USTFCCCA All-Academic
NEW ORLEANS- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2025 All-Academic honorees on Monday (July 17) with 20 Titans on the list. UW-Oshkosh’s men’s and women’s teams also earned all-academic status.
Cavan Dobberstein (Manawa/Fox Valley Lutheran), Gavin Fritsch (Little Chute/Little Chute), Bryce Hale (Kimberly/Kimberly), Dwight Hosni (Cedarburg/Cedarburg), Joey Kean (Middleton/Middleton), Weston Lerdal (Neenah/Neenah), Kieran Maude (Palatine, Ill./Palatine), Nolan Milas (Virgil, Ill./Burlington Central), Steven Wauer (Muskego/Muskego), and Zach Zirgibel (Merton/Arrowhead Union) represented the men while Bobbi Blahnik (Algoma/Algoma), Ceanna Dietz (New Richmond/New Richmond Senior), Libby Geisness (Waukesha/Waukesha South), Megan Hunt (Lemont, Ill./Lemont), Maddy LaVoi (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny Centennial), Cyna Madigan (Rosendale/Laconia), Brenna Masloroff (Franklin/Franklin), Julia Steger, and Olivia Stenzel (Sevastopol/Sevastopol) were the women’s honorees.
In all, 620 male and 620 female student-athletes were named all-academic, with 129 from the rest of the WIAC. UW-Eau Claire had 35, UW-La Crosse had 62, UW-Platteville had eight, UW-River Falls had four, UW-Stevens Point had three, and UW-Stout had 17.
UW-Oshkosh was two of the 378 total programs earning all-academic status, including 11 teams from other WIAC schools.
The criteria to be named an All-Academic Team is a cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility of at least a 3.1 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent semester, computed by the USTFCCCA. Student-athletes must accumulate a 3.3 GPA through the most recently completed grading period and finished the season in the top-50 in an individual event or the top-35 in relay events.
