The Iraqi Paralympic Table Tennis Team has made an impressive accomplishment by securing four medals at the close of the World Motor Abilities Championship.
“The team succeeded in earning a gold medal alongside three silver medals at the World Motor Abilities Championship that took place in Thailand,” stated Naseem Al-Shammari, head of the Paralympic Table Tennis Federation delegation, in a statement by the Paralympic Committee – published by the Iraqi News Agency – INA.
He noted that “the pair Mustafa Ghanim and Iman Hamza clinched the gold medal in the mixed doubles category, marking a significant success in the global competition.”
Additionally, the delegation administrator, Dhikaa Sabbar, detailed that “athlete Mustafa Ghanim achieved the silver medal in the singles event following a commendable performance throughout the tournament, while athlete Iman Hamza earned a silver medal in the singles event after demonstrating outstanding skills in her matches, and athlete Taiba Muhammed secured the silver medal in her respective individual category.”
