  • Head coach Andrew McMinn is in his fourth season with the Utes and is the all-time wins leader at Utah with a record of 35-17.
  • The Utes are in their fourth season in the ASUN conference, coming off three consecutive ASUN regular season titles (2022, 2023, 2024) and back-to-back ASUN Championships (2023, 2024).
  • Two Utes received ASUN preseason awards, with junior Ryan Stines claiming a unanimous vote for preseason Attack of the Year and senior Cody Hart being named preseason Midfielder of the Year.
  • Utah earned the top spot in the preseason ASUN Coaches Poll, the fourth straight year that Utah has been voted the No. 1 preseason ranking in the league.
  • Since McMinn’s first season in 2022, the Utes have broken over 70 school records in just 47 games.
  • Utah finished 24th overall in the NCAA Men’s lacrosse rankings for 2024.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah fell short to Marquette in overtime heartbreak, finishing 12-11.

  • This was the sixth game this season where Utah hits the scoreboard first.
  • Chase Robertson led the Utes in goals and achieved his first collegiate hat trick.
  • Senior Luc Charbonnier appeared in his third game of the season, earning his first goal of the campaign.
  • Bryce Madden earned a season-high of attempted face-offs with 16, bumping his career face-off percentage to 45.7%.
  • Marking the first loss to the Golden Eagles, this pushed the all-time record between Utah and Marquette to 3-1.
  • The last time Utah found time in overtime play was Feb. 18 against Vermont in the 2023 season, where the Utes fell 13-14 in Salt Lake City.

MAD HATTERS
Six Utes have marked down at least one hat trick this season, with two players, both underclassmen, achieving it multiple times. Freshman Cade Faulkner is leading the Utes with his three hat tricks, scoring three goals against Delaware, then again at Denver and finally, against Syracuse. Freshman Luke McNamara and senior Cody Hart were the first of the season to tally three plus goals, hitting this mark at No. 19 Ohio State and pushing the Utes to their first ranked win of the season. McNamara went on to earn his second hat trick at Dartmouth alongside Zachary White, who earned the first in his career. Senior Jonas Hunter found his first as Ute in the match against Delaware, while freshman Chase Robertson hit the mark against Marquette for his career-first hat trickIN THE CAGE
Junior Colin Lenskold has faced 281 shots in the cage so far this season, tallying up 82 saves in seven games, finding a save percentage of 49.4%. Marking an odd statistic, Lenskold faced exactly 39 shots against Utah’s first three opponents, and then saw 39 shots again, for the fourth time this season, at Vermont.ASUN HONORS
Junior Nikko DiPonio and senior Cody Hart were awarded this season’s first ASUN weekly honors after a 19-13 Utah win against No. 19 Ohio State. DiPonio was named Defensive Player of the Week after his nine ground balls and one caused turnover held the defensive side for the Utes. On the offensive, Hart earned his title after scoring four goals and a helper to tally up five points.FOLLOW US!
