Utah State Announces 2025 Cross Country Schedule

The cross country slate features nine meets, including the Mountain West Cross Country Championships (Oct. 31 in Fresno, California), the NCAA Mountain Regionals (Nov. 14 in Taylorsville, Utah) and the NCAA Cross Country Championships (Nov. 22 in Columbia, Missouri).

Utah State will host two events at Steve and Dona Reeder Cross Country Course during the cross country campaign, holding the season-opening Utah State Alumni Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 30, and the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational on Friday, Oct. 10. Attendance at both home meets is free to the public.

 

Following the season opener, Utah State will head south to Sugarhouse Park in Salt Lake City for the Westminster-hosted Beehive Invitational on Friday, Sep. 12. After a two-week break, USU will compete at the Paul Short Run on Friday, Oct. 3, hosted by Lehigh in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

 

Utah State will then host its second home meet of the cross country season with the Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational on Friday, Oct. 10.

 

USU will then split up its squad at a pair of prestigious meets the following weekend to conclude the regular season. The men’s team will travel to the Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday, Oct. 17, while the women will compete at the 2025 Pre-Nationals Invitational in Columbia, Missouri, on Saturday, Oct. 18.

 

Utah State will take a week off in preparation for the MW Cross Country Championships, hosted by Fresno State in Fresno, California, on Friday, Oct. 31.

 

The NCAA Mountain Regionals will be hosted by the University of Utah two weeks later on Friday, Nov. 14, at Valley Regional Park in Taylorsville, Utah. The 2025 cross country season concludes with the 2025 NCAA Cross Country Championships, held Saturday, Nov. 22, at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri.
