Valley Elite is now accepting signups for its youth basketball league. The last day to sign up will be November 22.
Participants will learn the basics of basketball and how to work as a team. They will learn dribbling, shooting, passing and more. Players will develop skills through the league’s training course.
Games will be held on Saturdays. There will be two practices per week. All practices and games will be held in Porterville.
The league will boys and girls divisions third and fourth grades, fifth and sixth grades, seventh and eighth grades and high school and a co-ed division for kindergarten through second grade.
Competition will be against league teams and teams from across the Valley. Cost per player is $175 which includes jersey, pictures, a camp and an all-star tournament.
Evaluations will be held November 22, the first practice will be November 24 and the season will begin on December 6.
