Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball | SEC Slate Set
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Southeastern Conference announced the 2026 men’s basketball schedule Wednesday, with Vanderbilt opening the 18-game gauntlet at South Carolina on Jan. 3.
The Commodores welcome Alabama in the midweek (Jan. 6/7) for the SEC home opener inside Memorial Gymnasium. After going a perfect 5-0 on Saturday in Memorial Gymnasium a season ago, the Dores will once again host five weekend contests in 2026. Saturday SEC showdowns include LSU (Jan. 10), defending national champion Florida (Jan. 17), Oklahoma (Feb. 7), Texas A&M (Feb. 14) and Tennessee (Feb. 21).
The remaining three home contests feature bouts with Kentucky (Jan. 27/28), Georgia (Feb. 24/25) and Ole Miss (March 3/4).
The 2026 road slate features Vanderbilt’s first trip to Texas as SEC foes on Jan. 13/14. The Dores face perennial rivals Kentucky in Rupp Arena on Feb. 28 before closing the regular season at Tennessee on March 7.
The 2026 SEC Tournament returns to Bridgestone Arena March 11-15.
Midweek games (Tuesday or Wednesday), game times and television designations will be announced at a later date.
