“I am incredibly proud of Morgan’s determination and persistence in pursuing her goal of playing professionally,” head coach and director of volleyball Julie Torbett Thomas said. “When I recruited her, she made it clear that she was committed to developing as a player to compete at the next level and that playing here in Chattanooga was going to give her the best opportunity to achieve her goal.”Playing professional volleyball has always been my goal since I started playing collegiate volleyball,” Romano said. “I am so thankful to have the opportunity to play professionally overseas in Kosovo. Chattanooga helped me grow as an individual on the court and helped lead me to where I am now: having the opportunity to play professional volleyball!”Fer Volley is a volleyball club based out of Ferizaj, Kosovo, and competes within numerous topflight competitions in the region including the Kosovo Superliga, the Kosovo Federation Cup and the Independence Albania Cup.As of right now, Romano is one of six active Americans playing on Fer Volley’s roster.FOLLOW CHATTANOOGA VOLLEYBALL

Romano would finish that season 18-7 overall playing primarily in the team’s No. 5 pairing, where she ended up receiving AVCA Top Flight honors for her efforts.Romano ended her collegiate career having recorded 2,035 total kills as well as 1,955 digs. Prior to her time at UTC, the Oviedo, Florida, native played four years at Rider where she was a multi-time First Team All-MAAC player and a 2021 AVCA All-American.”Mocs volleyball takes pride in supporting our players who aspire to continue their careers beyond college. Morgan is a perfect example of what happens when you work hard, fully commit and believe in yourself.
