Volleyball collects team academic award for 15th straight year
The Hamilton College Continentals earned a 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award on Monday, July 21 when the organization released its list of award winners.
Teams must have maintained a grade point average of 3.3 or better during the 2024-25 academic year in order to receive recognition. Hamilton collected the award for the 15th straight year.
The Continentals also boasted the additional distinction of Team Academic Honor Roll for owning one of the top 20 percent grade point averages in NCAA Division III. It was the first time Hamilton achieved that milestone.
The Continentals are led by Head Coach Kristin Baker. Hamilton won five matches at home last season, including a five-set victory in the season finale against Middlebury College, which went on to participate in the NCAA championship.
