OXFORD, Miss. – Capping off the historic campaign of the Ole Miss volleyball program in 2024, the Rebels have earned votes in the AVCA’s final rankings, as the organization announced following the conclusion of the NCAA Tournament.
The Rebels earned votes in the national rankings for the first time since 2021. It’s the fourth season the program has earned votes in at least one week, joining the 2021, 2019 and 2007 seasons. It is also the first time the Rebels have finished the season with votes in the AVCA rankings.
The Rebels received nine votes, which ranks them as the No. 31 team in the nation on vote totals.
It was a season to remember for the Rebels, who finished 18-12 and won their first ever NCAA Tournament match, defeating then No. 21 Florida State in five sets. Nia Washington became the third Rebel to earn All-American honors when she was named an honorable mention selection by the AVCA, while the program set a record with four earning All-Region honors.
