Volleyball Selected Third in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown volleyball was selected third in the Ivy League Volleyball Preseason Poll, the league announced on Wednesday (Aug. 27).
 
The Bears earned 88 points in the poll, finishing nine points above fourth-place Cornell. Yale sits on top of the poll with 121 points and nine first place votes. Princeton earned seven first place votes and picked up 119 points.
 
The poll is rounded out by Penn (58) in fifth, followed by Harvard (53), Dartmouth (42) and Columbia (16).
 
Brown kicks off its regular season on Friday, Sept. 5 when the Bears take on Bryant at Providence College at 7 p.m.
