Volleyball Unveils 2025 Fall Schedule

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara women’s volleyball team unveiled a competitive 2025 fall schedule Monday, kicking off on August 29 in South Bend, Ind., and featuring 29 matches, including 12 home contests.
 
The schedule features four tournaments beginning with the Catholic Challenge, which the Broncos hosted last season, on August 29 and 30, that is set to take place in South Bend, Ind. this year at Notre Dame University. The Broncos will once again face the Fighting Irish on Friday (8/29) and Villanova on Saturday (8/30). Last season, the Broncos split against the pair of teams at the Leavey Center defeating the Wildcats 3-1, and falling to the Irish 1-3.
 
The Broncos have one home tournament on Sept. 4-6 where they will host Cal Baptist on Friday, Long Beach State on Saturday, and welcome UNLV on Sunday to close out the weekend.
 
Santa Clara has two true road non-conference games against Cal State Bakersfield (9/9), and San Jose State (9/16). In between those days, they will play a tournament in Fresno, Calif. on Sept. 11-12. The Broncos play the hosting Bulldogs on Friday before facing CSUN on Saturday.
Santa Clara closes out the non-conference slate on Sept. 19 and 20 in Bozeman, Mont., playing Nevada on Friday and the host school Montana State on Saturday.
 
The Broncos face a grueling 18 game West Coast Conference (WCC) schedule which begins with two road matchups at Gonzaga (9/25) and Washington State (9/27). Santa Clara faces Oregon State (10/2) in their first of three straight home games followed by Pepperdine (10/4) and USF (10/9).
 
Next up, Santa Clara faces a two-game road-trip at Saint Mary’s (10/11) and Pacific (10/18). They play a home match against Gonzaga (10/23), before making their first trip to WCC newcomer Seattle (10/25) to close out the month of October.
 
They will play nine total matches in the month of November beginning with a home match against Portland (11/1) and a road contest at USF (11/6). The Broncos then host Pacific (11/8), before facing a three-game road-trip at LMU (11/13), Pepperdine (11/15) and Oregon State (11/20).
 
The Broncos close out the regular season with three straight home contests against San Diego (11/22), Washington State (11/26), and Seattle (11/29).
