ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis police are asking for help locating three suspects connected to a carjacking in Dutchtown.The carjacking took place on December 23 in the 4300 block of S. Broadway. Police said a 47-year-old man had picked up a woman and went to the Conoco Gas Station around 5:30 a.m. per her request. While the man went inside the gas station to make a purchase, the woman stayed inside the car, which was parked at the pump. While walking back to the car, two armed suspects approached the man and demanded his car keys. The man said he gave the suspects the keys, and they drove off in his car with the woman still inside. Around 1 p.m. the same day, the Real Time Crime Center received a license plate reader hit of the man’s Cadillac on South Grand at Arsenal. When officers began pulling the stolen car over, it sped off, and officers chased after it. The Cadillac eventually became disabled after hitting a car and multiple sidewalk curbs in the 3100 block of Chippewa, at which point three men and a woman ran off. The men were later taken into custody. Just over a week after the crime, police announced they were looking for three additional suspects who participated in the actual carjacking.
