John Sutton, a student of graphic design and photography at Priestley College, was approached by Warrington Youth Rowing to help with its transition to All Aboard Youth Rowing.
John, who previously attended Bridgewater High, dedicated his free time to the project and produced a result that both he and the charity take pride in.
He remarked: “I believe the most important aspect of my role is to accurately convey what the brand represents while fulfilling the client’s requirements.
“In this instance, they desired a contemporary, innovative approach that would distinguish them from other rowing organizations.”
His design incorporates two As, representing All Aboard, integrated into the concept.
It is designed to evoke the bow of a rowing boat, with a ripple of water alluding to the organization’s mission.
It is now prominently displayed on the charity’s website, social media platforms, and across over 1,000 clothing items produced each year.
Richard Sinnott, CEO of All Aboard Youth Rowing, stated: “We met John, and after several in-person discussions, we finalized our new logo.
“The design is highly professional and has received positive feedback from everyone who has encountered it.”
All Aboard Youth Rowing reached out to Priestley College after a former student had created their prior logo.
The organization has since broadened its membership base to additional geographical regions and sought a name and identity that mirrored this expansion.
