WARRIOR TRACK & FIELD HEADS TO THE MINNESOTA STATE OPEN

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University track and field team will make the trip out to Minnesota State, Mankato for the Minnesota State Open on Saturday, April 12 with events starting at noon.

Last weekend, the Warriors opened up their outdoor season at the Ashton May Invite at UW-La Crosse where several athletes took part. Some highlights from the Ashton May Invite was Kylie Anderson finished first in the 1500 meter race with Samantha Harke also finishing in the top-10. Hanna Reichenberger took fourth in the 100 meter hurdles and second in the triple jump. Alyssa Larson took second in the 400 meter race and Jenna Anders finished third in the 800 meter race. 

The WSU track and field team looks to bring a whole arsenal of athletes to compete in the Minnesota State Open led by Reichenberger, MacKenzie Wissbroecker, Anderson, Anders, and Larson, where they will compete against other NSIC schools along side schools from the MIAC, UMAC, and NAIA.
