Paddy McNair, currently on loan at West Brom, is out due to a Grade 2 or possibly even Grade 3 hamstring injury, as stated by Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury specialist indicates that following the injury sustained after his early substitution against Cardiff City on 26 October, he will have a slow path back to full fitness.
With his loan from San Diego FC set to end in January, it’s quite possible that he may not play again for the Baggies.
In response to this development, Dr Brar – a specialist in physical therapy and sports science – shared with West Brom News: “This appears to be a moderate Grade 2 or possibly Grade 3 hamstring injury considering his projected recovery timeline of late December.
“The recovery process involves consistent targeted rehab, progressing to individual training, team drills, and eventually match play.

“If late December is indeed the accurate return timeframe, I would anticipate him to start training by early to mid December.
“Hamstring injuries are notoriously delicate, so his return to full fitness will require a careful, progressive approach.“
Paddy McNair has faced misfortune during his time at West Brom
Since arriving in the summer, McNair has managed to participate in only two league matches for the Baggies.
In those two matches, he has spent only 94 minutes on the field in total, and it appears very unlikely that he will increase that tally.
His other match was a League Cup game in August against Fleetwood Town, where Carlos Corberan’s team suffered a 2-1 defeat.
In additional news regarding West Brom, an update on Grady Diangana’s injury has been released following his recent issue.
