This year marks a significant milestone for Lexington, as it’s the first time the Parks & Recreation department has launched a track & field team. Holt’s inspiration comes from her own family, specifically her mother, Carolyn Curry, and her younger brother, Maury Holt. She describes them as her greatest influences, calling them an “inspiration to her, her whole entire life.” This family-first perspective underpins her coaching philosophy and her dedication to building a strong, supportive community around the new team.
