Below are the candidates:

Gerritt Griggs, Central-Phenix City: The quarterback achieved 14 completions out of 19 attempts for 253 yards along with six touchdowns, steering Central to a 55-7 victory over Spain Park in the Class 6A/7A state flag football championship match.

Jamie McGuire, Montgomery Catholic: McGuire registered nine solo tackles, six tackles for loss, and four sacks during the Knights’ 14-7 triumph against Moody in the Class 1A-5A state flag football championship.

Emma Kile, Moody: Kile completed 14 of 29 attempts for 164 yards and a touchdown in Moody’s defeat to Montgomery Catholic in the Class 1A-5A championship. Additionally, she led the Blue Devils defensively with four tackles, two interceptions, and a pass breakup.

Amber Mangina, Spain Park: Mangina was the leader of the team’s defense with six solo tackles and an interception during the Jaguars’ loss to Central-Phenix City in the Class 6A-7A championship game. On offense, she recorded two catches for 40 yards and one touchdown.
