There were some impressive statistical showings among boys athletes on the Northshore last week.
Here’s your chance to make your vote count and choose the Northshore Boys Athlete of the Week. The poll will wrap up at noon on Wednesday, and the winner will be recognized on the NOLA.com prep sports Facebook page and the St. Tammany Farmer Facebook page.

Who was the girls Athlete of the Week?
Justin Anguzza, Mandeville: The junior midfielder scored a total of three goals in wins over East Ascension and Zachary last week. He leads the Skippers with eight goals on the season.
Will Becnel, St. Paul’s: The junior guard scored posted 22 points (3 of 5 from beyond the arc), six rebounds and five steals during a 73-38 win over Ben Franklin on Dec. 13.
Brennon Bell, Covington: The sophomore guard scored 15 points as the Lions earned a 68-64 victory over Fontainebleau on Dec. 12.
Joshua Carroll, Salmen: The sophomore posted a double double with 14 points, 10 blocks and six rebounds during a 69-59 win over St. Paul’s on Dec. 11.
James Chaney, Slidell: The senior guard averaged 17 points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists as the Tigers went 5-0 last week.
Brayden Hutchison, Pearl River: The junior averaged 14 points and seven rebounds as the Rebels scored wins over on Pope John Paul II and New Orleans Science and Math Charter last week.
