Women’s Indoor Track & Field Tabbed Fourth in MIAA Preseason Poll

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — The Albion women’s indoor track & field team was picked to finish fourth in the 2025-26 MIAA preseason poll. Calvin was voted as the preseason favorites, while Trine was right behind the Knights in second.

Albion finished fourth at the 2025 MIAA Championships with 48 points.

The Britons return junior Brianna Bennett, who helped the distance medley relay earn second-team All-MIAA honors with a runner-up finish in a time of 13:04.95. Senior thrower Leilani Casteele is also back after placing eighth in the weight throw with a mark of 12.83m.

Albion will get their indoor season going on Friday, December 5 as they travel to Saginaw Valley State Holiday Open.

8. The University of Olivet – 42 points
