Women’s Soccer Heads to Illinois

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College women’s soccer team travels to Illinois on Monday evening for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff at Demirjian Park. The match will be streamed live on Big Ten+. 

LAST TIME OUT 

– The Eagles faced off against Cornell on Friday, resulting in a 0-0 tie 

– Junior goalkeeper Olivia Shippee recorded her first career shutout. She has now extended her shutout streak to 233 minutes to start her junior season.

OPENING WEEK 

– Boston College kicked off the 2025 season on Thursday evening against Stonehill, securing a 4-1 victory.

– The Eagles continued the opening week with a 4-0 victory over FDU

Emily Mara, Milla Lee, and Sophie Reale all scored their first goals for the Eagles.  

– Lee, Amalia Dray, and Sophia Lowenberg scored a total of two goals each over the course of both games.

A WIN ON MONDAY WOULD…

– Improve Boston College’s record to 3-0-1 for the season.  

SERIES HISTORY 

– This match will be the second meeting between the two teams.

– Their first encounter took place in 2013 during the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament, where Boston College secured a 4-1 victory.
