UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Freshman Patricia Grigoras was named a 2025 Big Ten Player to Watch on Monday, Jan. 6. Grigoras is one of just three freshmen on the list, joined by Mika Dagan Fruchtman (Northwestern) and Ece Gencer (Purdue). During the fall campaign, Grigoras compiled a 6-2 singles record and a 5-5 doubles record. Paired with Jordina Cegarra, she reached the doubles quarterfinals at the ITA Northeast Regional. At the WVU Martha Thorn Invitational, Grigoras collected singles victories on all three days of competition.
