The operators of a vacation company and a youth sports organization have teamed up to build a new indoor athletics facility in southwestern Chesterfield.

Brothers Sean and Mike Beville and business partner Ryan Marable are slated to break ground early next year on the 360 Field House. It is planned to feature two full-length basketball courts and a multipurpose turf field in a 22,000-square-foot building.

The facility will rise next to Hidden Wit Brewing Co. at 21110 Hull Street Road. The brewery’s owners are selling a portion of the property to the 360 Field House team.

The Bevilles run vacation rental company Beville Getaways, while Marable owns youth sports organization Local Legends. Sean Beville said they are pursuing the $3 million field house because there aren’t enough youth sports facilities to handle the area’s growing population and demand.

“There’s a really big demand in the area with, one, the growing population, and two, the shortage of indoor space,” he said.

Local Legends, which operates youth sports teams and clinics, would be the main tenant at 360 Field House. The building would also be rented as an event venue and place for after-school programs.

“It’s really going to be open to the whole community to use, but Local Legends is going to be the main foundation of it,” Sean said.

Local Legends currently leases a space at 7505 Ranco Road in Henrico, and also operates out of other facilities in Chesterfield. Marable said that 360 Field House would be open to other youth sports organizations in addition to Local Legends.

“We’ll have the field house as our home base,” Marable said. “We want all these programs that have worked hard to build their brand to have a place where they can go.”

360 Field House’s basketball courts will be able to be converted for other sports like indoor soccer and volleyball. The facility is planned to also feature spectator seating, batting cages and agility training space.

The 360 Field House facility (shown in blue) would be built on land split off from the property that’s home to Hidden Wit Brewing Co. in Chesterfield.

The 2.5-acre site for 360 Field House is being carved out of a larger property that’s home to Hidden Wit. The team behind the sports venue is planning to buy the land from Hidden Wit owners Butch and Kim Taylor. The anticipated purchase price wasn’t disclosed.

The 360 Field House team contacted Hidden Wit about the proposal and its interest in buying land there. Mike said the businesses will be able to support one another by being a draw for kids and families looking for sports venue space, as well as an amenity for adults.

“(It was) us approaching Butch and organically coming up with this idea of the symbiotic relationship between us, us driving traffic to him, him driving traffic to us and putting our two business models together,” he said.

360 Field House is anticipated to take six or seven months to build, and the facility is slated to open in fall 2026. The project secured zoning approval from the Chesterfield Board of Supervisors this year.

A general contractor has been selected for the project, but 360 Field House declined to share the name of the firm. Balzer & Associates is part of the project.

360 Field House is planning to continue to grow its operations following the venue’s opening. Potential growth moves include expansion of the facility, as well as construction of outdoor turf fields.
