The Fordham Rams men’s water polo team, fresh off their historic season, has announced their highly competitive 2025 schedule. This season includes 13 matches against top-ranked opponents, including four NCAA Championship competitors. The season kicks off with the Bruno Classic featuring MIT and Harvard, followed by a significant showing at the Princeton Invitational where they face defending champs UCLA. GREENWOOD, Ind. – Three student-athletes from SWOSU Track & Field have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District selections, announced this week by the organization.

Breegan Barnett, Jaci Shelton, and Marleigh West each earned the academic recognition. West is now a three-time All-District selection, while Shelton and Barnett receive honors for the first time. 

Academic All-District selections were based on combined academic and athletic qualifications. Athletically, student-athletes needed to be ranked in the top-50 of the region in at least one event. In addition to the athletic qualifications, award winners must also hold a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and be at least a sophomore.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

LUBBOCK, Texas – Oskar Edlund and Shelby Frank each earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, announced by the organization.

Frank won the hammer and discus competition at the Big 12 outdoor meet and went on to set new personal bests in the hammer and discus at the NCAA Championships. Frank placed second in the hammer and third in the discus. Overall, Frank scored 14 of Tech’s 22 points at the NCAA meet. Frank completed the semester boasting a 4.0 GPA towards her graduate certificate in Health and Human Sciences in Education and Training.

Edlund finished second at the Big 12 outdoor meet in the 400m hurdles before wrapping up his season in fourth place at the NCAA Championships. Edlund completed capped off the semester with a 3.60 GPA in Finance.

Both Red Raiders will be put on the ballot for the Academic All-American award which will be announced on July 15 and 16.
