NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick will return to his short track roots in a special way this spring, as he has been named Grand Marshal for the “Ross & Witmer 255” at Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 22. The event serves as the fourth race of the 2025 season for the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, co-sanctioned with the ASA Southern Super Series.
Harvick’s appearance adds star power to what is already shaping up to be one of the premier mid-week racing showcases of the year, just days before the NASCAR Memorial Day Weekend festivities at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Harvick’s son, Keelan, will be competing in the Legend car division at the Hickory event, where he claimed the win one year ago.
A 2014 NASCAR Cup Series Champion, Harvick’s career is marked by both longevity and dominance. Over the course of his Cup Series tenure, he amassed 60 career victories, ranking him among the top 10 all-time winners in NASCAR’s premier division. Harvick also scored two NASCAR Xfinity Series championships and totaled over 100 wins across NASCAR’s top three national touring series. Known as one of the sport’s most respected and media-savvy veterans, his presence at Hickory continues his deep-rooted connection to grassroots motorsports.
The Ross & Witmer 255 event will take place over two days:
Wednesday, May 21: Hauler parking, technical inspection, and early practice
Thursday, May 22: Final practice rounds, CorvetteParts.net Pole Qualifying, and the marquee 255-lap Super Late Model main event

Just past the halfway point of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, a full-time driver has lost his ride and been replaced, less than two weeks after failing to qualify for the street race in Chicago, Illinois.
Kris Wright landed his first Xfinity Series ride since wrapping up the 2022 season with Brandonbilt Motorsports, as he was named the full-time driver of the No. 5 Chevrolet for Our Motorsports for the 2025 season. However, limited success through the season’s first 19 race weekends has led to him being replaced.
Wright’s only top 15 finish of the year was a ninth place effort at Martinsville Speedway in March. He only managed two other finishes higher than 24th: an 18th place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May and a 17th place finish at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in June. He recorded nine DNFs and/or finishes lower than 30th.
Kris Wright replaced by a fan-favorite at Dover
Though a full-time replacement has not been announced for Our Motorsports for the season’s final 14 races, one has been confirmed for this coming Saturday afternoon’s race at Dover Motor Speedway, and it’s a driver whom many fans believe is a significant upgrade for Chris Our’s team.
Kaz Grala is set to drive the No. 5 car this weekend at the “Monster Mile”, and many fans are hoping that this opportunity leads to more opportunities for the 26-year-old Boston, Massachusetts native.
Grala finished in 17th place in the championship standings in his lone full season in the series two years ago with Sam Hunt Racing and recorded nine top 10 finishes along the way. He has always seemingly made the most of his limited opportunities in NASCAR national series competition, going all the way back to his Truck Series debut in 2016.
Last year, he ran part-time for Rick Ware Racing in the Cup Series but did not make any Xfinity Series starts, though he did fail to qualify for one race at RSS Racing. He has made just one national series start so far this year, that coming in the recent Xfinity race in Chicago when he returned to Sam Hunt Racing, and he finished in 22nd place.
So far, Saturday’s BetRivers 200 is the only race for which Our Motorsports have confirmed a driver for the No. 5 Chevrolet throughout the remainder of the 2025 season.
The BetRivers 200 is set to be shown live on the CW Network from Dover Motor Speedway starting at 4:30 p.m. ET this Saturday, July 19. Start a free trial of FuboTV now and don’t miss any of the action from the “Monster Mile”!

No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Team:
Driver: Anthony Alfredo
Primary Partner(s): Lanita Specialized
Manufacturer: Chevrolet Camaro
Crew Chief: Andrew Abbott
2025 Driver Points Position: 21st
2025 Owner Points Position: 23rd
Engine: Earnhardt-Childress Racing
Notes of Interest:
● Year Two, Full Throttle: In January, Young’s Motorsports announced that NASCAR Xfinity Series veteran Anthony Alfredo would compete full-time for the team in its second year of Xfinity Series competition.
Alfredo is driving the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro for the entire 33-race schedule, which continues this Saturday afternoon with the BetRivers 200 at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway.
● About Anthony: A popular driver, Alfredo, a native of Ridgefield, Connecticut, joins Young’s Motorsports with an array of Motorsports experience, including starts in the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series, respectively.
The 2025 season will mark Alfredo’s fourth full-time Xfinity Series campaign, and he joins the Mooresville, N.C.-based team after spending the 2024 season with Our Motorsports.
The 25-year-old finished 15th in the 2024 Xfinity Series driver standings, highlighted by a Dash 4 Cash victory at Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway. He added two more top-five finishes and seven top-10s to his career totals, further strengthening his résumé across 137 Xfinity Series starts.
● All-Aboard!: For the 20th of 33 Xfinity Series races this season, Young’s Motorsports welcomes Lanita Specialized as the primary partner on the No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro for the 200-lap race on Saturday afternoon.
Founded in 1997, Lanita Specialized provides truckload and LTL transportation. We service the needs of our customers with professional and qualified drivers.

● Anthony Alfredo NASCAR Xfinity Series Dover Motor Speedway Stats: Saturday afternoon’s BetRivers 200 will mark Anthony Alfredo’s sixth trip to the Monster Mile.
In his previous five starts at the 1.0-mile concrete oval, Alfredo has completed all but 78 of the laps between the 2020 and 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series seasons.
His best result came during the 2024 edition of the BetRivers 200, where he earned a track-best ninth after starting 21st while driving for Our Motorsports. The finish earned the team a $100,000 bonus during Xfinity’s Dash 4 Cash initiative.
Overall, he holds an Xfinity Series average finish of 16.8 at the First State facility.
In addition to his five NASCAR Xfinity Series starts, Alfredo has also had a lone NASCAR Cup Series start at Dover Motor Speedway in 2021, finishing 28th after starting 27th for Frow Row Motorsports in the 400-lap Drydene 400.
Nineteen races into the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season — with 14 remaining — Anthony Alfredo and the Young’s Motorsports No. 42 team remain laser-focused on one mission: mounting a late-summer charge toward the Playoffs.
A strong performance — or perhaps a long-awaited breakthrough win — in Saturday afternoon’s BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway could serve as a defining moment in Alfredo’s postseason pursuit.
Conquering the “Monster Mile” would not only send a message to the competition but could mark a pivotal shift in the momentum the team has been building.
The action begins Friday afternoon with the General Tire 150, a companion event that brings together the ARCA Menards Series and the ARCA Menards Series East for 150 laps of intense competition. The daytime showdown sets the tone for a stacked weekend on the high-banked concrete oval.
Saturday’s 200-lap Xfinity Series main event is more than just another race — it’s a battle of endurance, execution and nerves. With its worn surface, unforgiving transitions, and physically demanding layout, Dover tests both drivers and equipment. Precision and patience are key when taking on Miles the Monster.
The weekend wraps on Sunday, July 20, as the NASCAR Cup Series stars roll into town for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400. The headlining event showcases the sport’s best and serves as the penultimate race in the in-season $1 million challenge, the eighth event in the second leg of the regular season.
As the summer grind continues, every lap at Dover carries weight and for Alfredo and the No. 42 group, a strong run in Delaware could be just what they need to climb closer to the Playoffs.
● Anthony Alfredo Xfinity Series Career Stats: Entering Dover, Alfredo has 137 NASCAR Xfinity Series races to his credit, earning a career-best third-place finish twice, most recently at Talladega Superspeedway after starting 11th in the 2024 edition of the Ag-Pro 300 for Our Motorsports.
Since 2020, he has earned one pole, five top-five, and 23 top-10 finishes and has an average finish of 19.9.
● Sonoma Raceway | Pit Boss / FoodMaxx 250 Race Recap: The NASCAR Xfinity Series made the cross-country trek to Northern California for a date with the twists and turns of Sonoma Raceway — and for Young’s Motorsports, the weekend showed early promise.
Anthony Alfredo rolled off with confidence, clocking quick laps in practice that kept his No. 42 DUDE Wipes Chevrolet in the mix. He carried that speed into qualifying, earning a solid 13th-place starting spot — a result that provided the track position needed to contend on the challenging 1.99-mile road course.
Once the green flag dropped, Alfredo made his presence known. He earned stage points with a sixth-place finish in Stage 1 and remained a top-10 threat throughout much of the 78-lap event, eyeing what could have been the team’s second top-10 finish of the season.
However, misfortune struck in the closing laps. A flat tire derailed the team’s efforts, forcing Alfredo to nurse his wounded No. 42 Chevrolet to finish in 23rd — a result that didn’t reflect the strength the team showed all weekend.
Now 19 races into the 2025 season, Alfredo and the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports team remain determined to rebound. With the heart of the summer stretch ahead, consistency,
composure and continued speed will be vital in keeping their Playoff hopes alive.
● Calling the Shots: Guiding Alfredo as crew chief of the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro is longtime crew chief Andrew Abbott.
On Saturday, he will be crew chief in his 149th NASCAR Xfinity Series race. In his previous 148 races, he has four top-five and 14 top-10 finishes.
The season’s 20th race will be his seventh tango at Dover Motor Speedway as crew chief in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
● Young’s Motorsports’ NASCAR Xfinity Series at Dover Motor Speedway: This weekend’s BetRivers 200 will mark Young’s Motorsports’ second NASCAR Xfinity Series appearance at the famed Monster Mile — a track known for its blistering speeds and unforgiving nature.
Last summer, rookie Leland Honeyman Jr. finished 21st after starting 28th, completing all but one lap.
The team is no stranger to Dover Motor Speedway. Since 2014, Young’s Motorsports has entered 12 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series races at the track, earning a best finish of 10th in 2015 with team principal Tyler Young behind the wheel.
Over that span, the team has recorded an average finish of 21.9, building valuable experience at one of the most demanding tracks on the schedule.
● Young’s Motorsports’ NASCAR Xfinity Series History: Since entering the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2024, the family-owned organization has logged 52 starts and maintains an average starting position of 25.9 and an average finish of 23.4.

Anthony Alfredo Pre-Race Quotes:
On Dover Motor Speedway: “Dover is one of my favorite race tracks, and it’s only a couple of hours from where I grew up, so it is very much a track I consider as a home race for me.”
On Preparation for Dover Motor Speedway: “I have been watching a lot of film and studying data to prepare myself for the challenges that the Monster Mile has in store.”
On Dover Motor Speedway Concrete Layout: “Dover is unique because of how high the loads are on the car. Handling is really important, and so is clean air.
“It also takes a physical toll on your body, but that’s one of my favorite parts about it.”
On Keys to Success at Dover Motor Speedway: “Because clean air is so important at Dover, track position will be critical. We will need to put ourselves up front and stay there throughout the race.”
On Dover Motor Speedway Performance Expectations: “A top 15 would be a great finish for us at Dover. I believe some of the things we have been working on for the intermediate tracks lately should correlate well.”
On Rebounding from Sonoma Raceway Finish: “We had a fantastic run at Sonoma Raceway this past weekend, despite the finish, which gives us a lot of confidence heading to Dover. I’m excited to carry the momentum.
On Goals for the Second Half of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season: “We have had a lot of ups and downs throughout the first half of the race season, but I’m confident we can recover by bringing fast cars to the track and executing well throughout this second half.
“We need more top-10s and a couple of top-fives before the end of the season. Ideally, winning just one race before the Playoffs is our ultimate goal because it would completely save our season.”
Race Information:
The BetRivers 200 (200 laps | 200 miles) is the 20th of thirty-three (33) NASCAR Xfinity Series races on the 2025 schedule. Two 25-minute group practice sessions will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. Qualifying will immediately follow, launching at 12:05 p.m. The 38-car field will take the green flag shortly after 4:30 p.m. ET, with live coverage on The CW Network, the Performance Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Channel 90. The NASCAR Cup Series is rolling into the capital city of the nation’s first state this weekend for a 400-mile race at Dover Motor Speedway.
The one-mile oval is a one-of-a-kind venue on the NASCAR schedule. With its high banking and concrete surface, no track quite compares to the appropriately-nicknamed Monster Mile. Dover has been on the Cup schedule since 1969 when Richard Petty won the inaugural event.
So, what’s in store for Dover this year? What’s the TV schedule for the weekend? And who could contend for the win on Sunday? Here’s everything to know for Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400:
When is the NASCAR race in Dover?
Green flag for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 is set for Sunday, July 20, at 2:17 p.m. ET.
Before the race, there will be practice and qualifying on Saturday. The 37 drivers will be split into two groups, with each group getting 25 minutes of free practice. For qualifying, each driver will get two laps to set their quickest time, with the starting order set using each driver’s faster lap. The 400-lap race will begin at 2:17 p.m. ET on Sunday.
NASCAR TV schedule this weekend for Dover
Adam Alexander (play-by-play), Dale Earnhardt Jr. (analyst) and Steve Letarte (analyst) will be on the call for TNT, with Shannon Spake, Parker Kligerman and Jamie McMurray providing pre- and post-race coverage.
Here’s the full schedule for Dover:

Thirty-seven drivers will race in Dover — the 36 full-timers, plus one additional entry.
J.J. Yeley is the outlier, as the 48-year-old veteran makes his sixth start of the 2025 season for NY Racing Team. Since there are fewer than 40 teams entered, all 37 cars will qualify for the race on Sunday.

NASCAR picks, predictions, favorites for Dover
The last five races have been at untraditional tracks — road courses, a triangle and a drafting oval. Expect a return to normalcy this weekend, with the typical contenders returning to form (sorry, Shane van Gisbergen).
It all starts with Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing, the two winningest teams this season. Each organization has four drivers capable of winning at Dover.
Starting with HMS, three of its four drivers are past Dover winners — Elliott, Larson and Bowman. Elliott is a two-time winner, including in 2022 with the current generation of car. Larson and Bowman won in the previous generation of car, but both have remained consistent in recent years. Larson was second last year and Bowman has four straight top-10 finishes. Byron is the only HMS driver without a Dover win, but he has three fourth-place finishes in the last five years.
As for JGR, Hamlin is the defending Dover winner after leading 136 laps last year. Bell was fourth in 2022 and has two Dover wins in the second-tier Xfinity Series. Briscoe and Ty Gibbs have also visited victory at Dover in the lower divisions, though that hasn’t yet translated to the Cup Series.
If you’re look for some longshots, keep an eye on Ross Chastain, Noah Gragson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Chastain has a chance to upset the HMS and JGR drivers after finishes of second and third in 2023 and 2022, respectively. Gragson and Stenhouse likely aren’t threats to win, but both could challenge for top-10s. Gragson was sixth last year and Stenhouse has points in three of the last four stages, plus a second-place finish in 2022.
The winning pick for Dover is Byron, who joins his Hendrick teammates as a Dover winner and gets his first victory since the season-opening Daytona 500.
Past winners at Dover, race history
Just six of the 37 drivers in the field are past winners at Dover.
Busch (2008, 2010, 2017), Hamlin (2020, 2024) and Elliott (2018, 2022) have multiple wins to lead all active drivers. One-time winners include Keselowski (2012), Larson (2019) and Bowman (2021).

On Wednesday afternoon, Young’s Motorsports and DGM Racing x JIM announced new primary sponsorship partners for this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series action at Dover Motor Speedway.
Anthony Alfredo and the No. 42 Young’s Motorsports team will welcome Pennsylvania-based LTL transportation company Lanita Specialized as the primary sponsorship partner on their Chevrolet race car in Saturday’s BetRivers 200. The addition of Lanita Specialized marks the eighth different sponsorship partner for Alfredo and the No. 42 team in 2025.
“I’m proud to welcome Lanita Specialized to our Xfinity program for Dover this weekend,” Alfredo said in a team press release. “They play a huge role in the trucking industry, moving essential equipment and materials that keep everything running behind the scenes. It’s great to have a company like that not only support our No. 42 team but also be such an important part of the Young’s Motorsports family.”
Alfredo, a 26-year-old native of Ridgefield, CT, sits 21st in the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship standings through the opening 19 races of the season. Alfredo picked up his 23rd career top-10 finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in the form of a sixth-place result at Talladega Superspeedway earlier this season.
In addition to Alfredo’s sponsorship announcement, Ryan Ellis and the No. 71 DGM Racing x JIM team announced a pair of co-primary sponsorship partners for Saturday’s BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway.
On the hood of the race car will be Sila Services, a residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services company, and Sila Services will be joined by Englert Inc., a national leader in metal roofing and gutter systems, which will serve as the sponsor on the sides of the No. 71 Chevrolet.

“I’m incredibly excited to welcome Englert and Sila Services as our co-primary partners for Dover. Both Sila and Englert are based in the Mid-Atlantic and have proven themselves as leaders within their industries, so it is a huge confidence boost to have their support at a track that we all call home,” Ellis said.
While Ellis has encountered a lot of rough luck during the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, which has led to the driver being ranked 28th in the championship standings heading into Dover Motor Speedway, Ellis knocked off a bucket list item earlier this season with his first-career top-10 finish.
Ellis secured an eighth-place result in the event at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May to finally break the goose egg in the top-10 column of his career stats sheet. Ellis will look to add another top-10 to the tally this weekend at Dover Motor Speedway with a pair of new partners on his race car.
