CONCORD, N.C. – Kyle Larson is used to making history. This Sunday, he can make some more.

Another win in the NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race would give him four and tie him with Jimmie Johnson for the most all-time. As it stands, he remains knotted with Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt for second.

Not bad company to keep, to say the least.

Chase Elliott is also a former All-Star Race winner, having gone to victory lane at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2020 en route to his first championship.

Throughout history, the All-Star Race has included several formats and locations, but one constant has been Hendrick Motorsports success. The organization is the all-time leader in starts (130), drivers to make an All-Star appearance (23), 11 (wins), winners (five), top fives (44), top 10s (73) and laps led (990).

Here’s a look at how all four current Hendrick Motorsports drivers have fared in the All-Star Race:

Long-time NASCAR Team Owner and Daytona 500 Champion Passes Away

What’s Happening? Larry McLure, a long-time fixture of the NASCAR Garage as co-owner of Morgan-McClure Motorsports, has passed away. Another sad day in the Southwest Virginia racing community as long time NASCAR team owner Larry McClure passed away this morning — Heather Williams (@SportsHeather) June 25, 2025 McClure made his name in NASCAR as a […]

What’s Happening?

Larry McLure, a long-time fixture of the NASCAR Garage as co-owner of Morgan-McClure Motorsports, has passed away.

  • McClure made his name in NASCAR as a co-owner of the Morgan-McClure Motorsports No. 4 car with Tim Morgan. This car, often recognized for the yellow Kodak paint scheme that it carried from 1986 to 2003, competed in the NASCAR Cup Series from 1983 to 2009.
  • During the early to mid-1990s, the team was one of, if not the most dominant, cars at Daytona, winning the 1991, 1994, and 1995 Daytona 500 and two summer races with Ernie Irvan and Sterling Marlin. This skill also transferred to Talladega, as between these two drivers, the No. 4 team won nine of 24 superspeedway races from 1991 to 1996.
  • During the team’s lifetime, the No. 4 won 14 NASCAR Cup Series races while fielding a long list of recognizable drivers. Aside from Irvan and Marlin, Morgan-McClure Motorsports entered cars for the likes of Mark Martin, Bobby Hamilton, Mike Skinner, and Ward Burton.
  • Morgan-McClure Motorsports entered their final NASCAR Cup Series race in the fall of 2009 at Bristol, the same track where they won their first race in 1990 with Irvan. That evening, Scott Wimmer piloted No. 4 to 29th place, finishing four laps down. The team attempted to qualify for the 2010 Bristol night race but failed to do so with Kevin Lepage behind the wheel.
  • McLure joins a tragically growing list of NASCAR team owners to pass away in 2025. This list includes former Cup Series team owner Travis Carter and current Truck Series team owners Charlie Henderson and Shigeaki Hattori.

The NASCAR Cup Series will return to Atlanta for a second time in 2025 this weekend. Following na exhilarating weekend at Pocono Raceway, EchoPark Speedway — formerly known as Atlanta Motor Speedway — will be the site of this coming Saturday’s action.

Yes, that does say Saturday, and you’re reading that right, as Atlanta will get a night race this time around. Earlier this season, Christopher Bell was victorious in Georgia, with the win serving as the first of three-in-a-row for the Joe Gibbs Racing star.

When it comes to Atlanta, there’s always plenty of wheelmen who can get to Victory Lane. Whether it’s Bell or someone else, DraftKings Sportsbook has us covered with the odds. See if your favorite driver has a shot at the dub in the Quaker State 400

Ryan Blaney (+800)

Ryan Blaney won in 2024 at Pocono Raceway, and he was hoping to repeat. He came up just short in Pennsylvania, finishing third. Still, a podium finish isn’t anything to scoff at for the Team Penske wheelman.

Atlanta has been a great track for Blaney, he just hasn’t won. In the past couple of seasons, he’s finished P4, P3 and P2. Only one left to go — there’s a reason he’s DraftKings’ favorite this weekend.

Joey Logano (+850)

Joey Logano couldn’t find his footing at Pocono. It’s always been a mixed bag for him in his Cup Series career, and that was the case again this past weekend, as the reigning champion finished P16.

Last season, Logano won the playoff opener at Atlanta, which directly led to his third championship. Earlier this year, he finished P12 at the track. He’s certainly a threat once again to get to Victory Lane in Georgia.

Austin Cindric (+900)

Austin Cindric

It was a solid showing for Austin Cindric at Pocono. The Team Penske wheelman finished P10 on the afternoon, as he’s looking to get on a bit of a roll here in the summertime.

Cindric’s P28 finish earlier this season in Atlanta isn’t indicative of his performance at the track. He was one of the best cars all evening before getting caught up in a wreck, so we’ll see if he’s out for some revenge this time around.

William Byron (+1200)

A qualifying wreck set the stage for a rough weekend for William Byron. His car looked great, but his performance didn’t match. He finished P27.

Byron won in Atlanta back in July of 2023. Still looking for his second win of the season, it’s not hard to discern why the Hendrick Motorsports star is one of the favorites entering this weekend’s event in Georgia.

Kyle Busch (+1400)

Kyle Busch needs a win in the worst way. It didn’t come at Pocono, as he finished P20 on the afternoon. He’s running out of chances, and in danger of missing the playoffs once again in 2025.

Since Atlanta was reconfigured, Busch has been one of the best at the track. He hasn’t finished below seventh in his last four attempts. Perhaps he can rise above and get back to Victory Lane in triumphant fashion this weekend.

Chase Elliott (+1400)

Chase Elliott continued his consistent 2025 at Pocono. The Hendrick Motorsports star finished P5 on the afternoon, delivering his fans something to cheer in the mountains.

There won’t be anyone more popular than Elliott in Atlanta this weekend. He has one win at the track, and that came back in 2022. There’s no better time like the present for him to take the checkered flag in his home state.

Kyle Larson (+1500)

Kyle Larson didn’t start the race well at Pocono, but he got it going later in the race. He notched a top ten, finishing P7 in Pennsylvania.

Atlanta has been a house of horrors for Larson, but he found his footing earlier this season. He finished third after previously finishing P37, P32, P36 and P31 — we’ll see if it’s a sign of things to come, or if he regresses back to the median this time around.

Christopher Bell (+1500)

It was a surprising afternoon for Christopher Bell at Pocono. While his teammates celebrated a 1-2 finish, Bell came home P17. That’s far below the standard he’s set for himself in 2025.

Bell was victorious in Atlanta earlier this season. It was the first of his three consecutive wins. However, he hasn’t won since his little streak. We’ll see if he can kick-off a new run in Georgia this weekend.

NASCAR Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Odds Continued:

  • Brad Keselowski (+1600)
  • Denny Hamlin (+1800)
  • Ross Chastain (+2000)
  • Tyler Reddick (+2200)
  • Chris Buescher (+2200)
  • Chase Briscoe (+2200)
  • Carson Hocevar (+2500)
  • Josh Berry (+2800)

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Sixteen-year-old racer Ben Maier will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut Saturday driving for Young’s Motorsports.

Maier will pilot the team’s flagship No. 02 Executive Chevrolet Silverado in what marks a pivotal moment in his rapidly advancing career.

The debut comes as Maier takes on one of the most technically demanding road courses in the country, offering a prime opportunity to showcase the skill, focus, and competitive drive that have defined his rise through the motorsports ranks.

Maier, a rising star in the motorsports world, has spent years honing his skills in various racing series like Stadium Super Trucks with Robby Gordon, Trans Am, Cars Tour and Travis Pastrana’s NitroCross and now, with the support of Young’s Motorsports, he is ready to take on the competition in the highly competitive Truck Series.

His youthful enthusiasm and passion for racing have already garnered attention and fans can expect an exhilarating performance as he takes to the track.

“I am so excited for this opportunity,” said Ben Maier. “When working with the limited resources our family has, a kid like me is not supposed to be able to make it to NASCAR.

“I’m so thankful for Tyler and Young’s Motorsports for taking this chance on me. I’ll give them my best effort. I also need to thank Executive Chevrolet for making it happen. I can’t wait to wheel the No. 02 Executive Chevrolet Silverado truck around Lime Rock Park!”

Young’s Motorsports extends its sincere gratitude to Executive Auto Group for serving as the primary sponsor of Maier’s NASCAR debut.

“We’re proud to support the next generation of racing excellence by sponsoring Ben Maier in this weekend’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Lime Rock Park,” offered Shaun Woodward, General Manager, Executive Chevrolet.

“Ben’s drive, talent, and determination embody everything we stand for at Executive Chevrolet: hard work, passion and pushing the limits. As a local dealership rooted in community and performance, we’re thrilled to be part of his journey and can’t wait to see him take the track.”

Elite Motorsports has announced a new partnership with UltraSonic LLC, a leader in high performance precision parts cleaning. UltraSonic LLC will support Elite Motorsports with precision cleaning services throughout the 2025 racing season, ensuring every component meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

“We’re excited to bring on UltraSonic as a partner here at Elite Motorsports,” said Richard Freeman, owner of Elite Motorsports. “Having our equipment clean and race ready is important. UltraSonic helps to get rid of debris that even brake clean or thorough washing would miss.”

UltraSonic’s advanced ultrasonic cleaners feature industry-leading side-mounted transducers that deliver uniform, high-efficiency cleaning from top to bottom, eliminating debris even in blind holes, recesses, and complex geometries that conventional methods like manual washing, sprays, and solvents often miss.

“Our machines clean where you can’t touch, see, or feel,” said Phil Esz, UltraSonic LLC President. “Even parts pre‑cleaned with brake cleaners still reveal contaminants after running through our ultrasonic systems. In racing, where parts operate under extreme RPMs, only flawlessly cleaned components deliver the reliability and performance that teams demand. Elite Motorsports demands perfection; we deliver it.”

UltraSonic LLC’s logo will be featured across the Elite Motorsports Pro Stock camp beginning at this weekend’s Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
